• Early detection of contaminants including airborne pathogens and chemicals

• Early detection of airborne pathogens emitted by coughing passengers in the aircraft cabin

• The effect of coughing passengers walking down a cabin isle on the distribution of contaminants

• Early detection of smoke and fire in aircraft cabin or cargo area

• Environmental air quality sensors for use in the in-flight measurements' systems
